Tired of slaving over hot cars 50 to 70 hours a week!!
When I was a child I remember talking to my uncles all the time about their work. They used to tell me how they were sick and fed up with all the bull that goes on in the shop day-in and day-out. They always tell me how they destroy their hands just to make a small check every week. Half of that check went to the Snap-on guy for the tools they had to purchase to finish a certain job on time. Now they get practily nothing in return but sore hand on to struggle to the next paycheck.
Now what if your boss comes up to you and says, Wow your doing a great job. Since you��re doing such a good job the company and I will like to give you all the Snap-on tools you need, and also give you a raise of 100k a year. Well if that be true I will be there working 50 to 70 hours a week. But as you know you would have a better chance winning the lottery. Then of course your boss acts like it is a big privilege to you for working there.
The second problem I see is that my uncles slaved over hot cars every day, and how much food they put on the table depends on how many cars they have chance to do a day. That is because they got paid by commissions. I guess what I��m trying to say, is that there destiny laid in the hands of how many customers their shop can bring in a day.
The third problem is that they said their feet, back, and hand hurt at the end of the day.
The fourth and final problem that I see with your industry is that you��re away from your family way too much. I bet when you were a kid your dream job was not to be away from your family so much. Now if I said I can show you how to start all over again. You can write out your perfect day at work. Would it include busting your hands up and slaving over a hot car for 50 to 70 hours a week? I think not.
