The New Mercedes Benz Folding Bike

Mercedes Benz Accessories GmbH, in collaboration with top German cycle manufacturer ADP Engineering GmbH, a company known for its exclusive, handcrafted Rotwild brand of cycles, have partnered to provide a flexible companion in the urban community -- a unique-concept Folding Bike. This Folding Bike is set to be equipped with patented folding mechanism that would make it perfectly ideal for city use, on yachting trips or during holidays.
The newly developed bicycle is the latest model in the Mercedes Benz��s exclusive Bike Collection, which intends to capture the automaker��s customers who seek for convenience out of a practical machine.
The folding high-tech bike has been built to provide the demand for urban mobility. It can be unfolded easily in just a few seconds, providing flexibility for use in the city. An ergonomically shaped quick-release fastener is found on the seat dome which aids the user to fold the bike fast and easy. By moving it once, the front and rear wheels fold together. The great thing about it is that it can still be pushed effortlessly despite its compact transportation size. Such folding style is made to offer urban ��bike and ride�� mobility. Another thing is that the cyclist��s hands are kept clean when folding the bike.
There is also a quick-release fastener just above the front wheel. It permits the handlebars to be pivoted downwards to even reduce the bike��s folded dimensions, making it measure just 800 x 800 x 280 millimeters. With such compact size, it can then be fitted comfortable in the boot of an open-top Mercedes Benz CLK Cabriolet. It could also take just a minimal amount of space in the garage, providing greater area for spare Mercedes car parts and tools.
By fact, two-wheeler transportation vehicles are far more dangerous than those with four or more wheels, since it requires balance from the rider itself. It includes practical pannier that is made from robust nylon. It has the capacity of seven liters and is provided with one main compartment and two subcompartments. There is also a Teflon coating that keeps the contents clean and dry. An ingenious transport system is also provided, with patented ��QuickTrack�� snap fasteners. Such system provides a secure hold for the tailor-made pannier as well as providing ease in attaching or removing the pannier from the carrier through simply snapping it into place at the base plate. It will be released the same way with safety belts through a touch of a button. The pannier car remain in place even when the bike is folded, which is because of the ingenious carrier system.
