HONDA Z50 buying custom parts for your monkey bike

In the US the HONDA monkey is known as the minitrail Z50. it was popular in the 1970`s. In Japan its possible to buy new HONDA monkey or Gorilla bikes however they production is limited to maybe 2-3,000. There are lots of used monkey, gorilla availeable. As well as used monkey baja and monkey R bikes which are not in production anymore. ? Customising the monkey is popular in Japan and you can buy many parts to customise your bike. from 88cc, 124cc bore up kits, to seats, mufflers, 12" aluminium wheels etc. ? ?Takegawa,Kitaco,gcraft etc. are well known parts manufacturers. The parts are very high quality. Made in japan, often hand made. high quality mufflers are made from stainless steal or titanium which is even lighter. People spend a fortune on custom parts. ? You can change the bike completely. Customised bikes are obviously worth alot more in value. but they look amazing and you can really be creative and build your dream bike. ? The license to build monkey bikes was given by HONDA to these chinese manufacturers. Thanks to the replikas monkey bikes and the DAX ST50/70 have found new fans in europe. The japanese made custom parts will fit the replika bikes. This is no problem. ? In Japan big scooters like the forza or suzuki skywave 400 are popular with young people.
