I am quite sure a lot of you have heard of the book Who Moved My Cheese, it is a great book for anyone, in almost any facet of their life to read. It gives us all a great idea of what is happening currently. In most cases the cheese has moved, I live in Michigan which at one time was a very prosperous state and many, many individuals moved to this area to secure jobs with good hourly wages and in the seventies, eighties, and part of the nineties. At one time it was almost a sure thing that someone that wanted to secure a future for there family or just create some stability, the Auto Industry was the place, it seemed as if there would be know end to the auto boom. In the late eighties most received record bonus payouts, unlimited overtime, the future looked bright, but look at the state of the auto industry now. There aren��t any bonuses, everyone including the powers to be is struggling to just stay afloat, and this is a far cry from the past. Now as the title stated the cheese is moving but most are unwilling to accept the change, most want to blame the companies, blame the government, but in the end the cheese has still moved.
The reason I used this title is that I started a company called The Power to be Free and it has positioned itself to help individuals understand what is needed when the cheese has moved. You need to reposition yourself for the future, you can ��him and haw�� like most and expect for things to change, but it will either remain the same or in cases like the auto industry become drastically worse. I can��t speak for all but if your cheese has moved, been reorganized, or changed flavors, what have you done to keep pace. Albert Einstein once quoted�� The Definition of Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting something different to happen��. We need to be open to change and understand that things change whether we like it or not, so let��s roll with the punches and obtain all the cheese we need to live the life we all want and expect. The Power to be Free is not the answer to everything, but it can give you some answers to different ways of obtaining the cheese we all so desperately need to survive. Sometimes the how we get the cheese is not all that important, it is just important that we have the cheese when we really need it. So for all that might be open to new ways of finding ways to obtain the cheese you need to go to The Power to be Free and be ready to have all the cheese you need.
