Keeping Passengers Cool

With summer comes the inevitable battle to keep comfortable. Coach and bus operators are all too aware of the discomfort that can be caused to passengers by inadequate or insufficient air conditioning.

To ensure passenger comfort bus and coach engines are often left running when vehicles are parked simply to maintain the air conditioned environment for the passengers. This means that engines are left idling for hours on end to provide the power. Idling diesel engines for long periods can cause several problems. The main one is carbon build up on injectors due to the levels of sulphur in the fuel and low working load.

This problem can cause excessive smoking from the engine as well as loss of performance up to 10%, and poor starting.

The solution to this problem is simple and also now available in Spain. Fuel Set is a revolutionary product from Australia that when mixed with diesel or petrol fuel at only 4000-1 provides a complete maintenance of the fuel system.

How does it work? Fuel Set, even though it is non toxic, non flammable, and biodegradable, keeps harmful sulphurs, gums and varnishes trapped in the fuel making them pass through the system harmlessly. When used at the economical 4000-1 Fuel Set will not only keep injectors clean but will clean heavily carboned injectors as well. This means that engines will run cleaner, smoother and up to 10% more efficient giving savings in fuel of similar amounts.

When Fuel Set is added to storage tanks, the best method, then the water absorption properties will dissolve any water or moisture into the fuel preventing corrosion in tanks and operational problems when the fuel gets to the engines.
