Dodge Parts: Loaded with Power
by GLADY REIGN
A division of Chrysler LLC, an American automobile company that was founded in 1925, Dodge is a renowned manufacturer of light and heavy-duty trucks. Formerly owned by a banking firm, the Dodge Brothers Motor Company management was shifted to John and Horace Dodges windows, Matilda Rausch Dodge and Anna Thompson Dodge. The women requested the former manager of the trucks main production plant, Frederick Haynes, to lead the company. Eventually, the company grew stronger until it was able to acquire Graham Truck and until it was renamed as Dodge Truck. After some time, the company became a part of the multimillion worth Chrysler Group owned by the DaimlerChrysler Corporation. Since Walter Chrysler bought the company for $170 million, Dodge evolved little by little to become the companys division for heavy-duty trucks and performance-oriented cars.
After the Second World War, Dodge introduced vehicles like the military-inspired Power Wagon truck, the Hemi-powered Coronet, and the Royal Lancer. This was also a time when the company introduced a number of then advanced Dodge parts like the dealer-installed air conditioning system.
Through the years, Dodge has undergone many changes, except for two things that are uniquely attributed to it. Innovation coupled with leadership always remains a mark of Dodge. After years of creating vehicles that offered common looks and ordinary handling, the manufacturer gave its lineup an important renovation. It redesigned a lot of the Dodge truck parts and its vehicles in order to project a more straightforward, aggressive approach. As a result, Dodge found itself attracting a whole new group of consumers, which then significantly improved its sales.
Dodge manufactures powerful, fuel-efficient, and elegantly-designed trucks. Because of the brands exceptional power requirement, its vehicles also require Dodge parts that surpass ordinary quality. From long-haul highway tractors to daytrip delivery fleets, trucks packed with tough Dodge parts deliver increased productivity and exhibit superior engineering that make maintenance a breeze. Dodge trucks, together with similarly reliable vans, now account for 78% of the brands sales. With the Dodge truck parts of the finest caliber, the 1.3 million units sold all over the world by the brand in 2006 is not a surprising figure at all.
