BMW bumpers are safe and simple

by GLADY REIGN

The German car maker, BMW, started out by producing airplane engines and motorcycles. The company eventually extended its operations to include automotive production as well. Both Gustav Otto and Karl Friedrich Rapp, founders of the company, were aircraft specialists who were both busy establishing their own companies. Thus, when Rapp Motoren Werke and Gustav Flugmaschinefabrik merged to form Bayersiche Motoren Werke (Bavarian Motor Works), or BMW, it wasn't surprising to find out that they first made airplane engines and motorcycles. It was 1928 when BMW would finally produce the company's first automobile. The following years saw the company gain commercial success in the automotive industry. This success has continued until today. At present, BMW is known as one of the greatest automakers all over. The company's reputation for producing top-of-the-line vehicles made with high quality parts and often equipped with sets of ideal safety features, has made BMW one of the market's big-time players.

BMW incorporates various standard safety features into its car queues with innovative ones. Airbags, seat belts and BMW bumpers are some of these. BMW bumpers are simple yet very helpful features in BMW vehicles. A bumper is designed to allow vehicles to withstand frontal or back collisions without producing severe damages to the vehicle's frame. BMW Bumpers, in short, keep the frame intact as it bears the brunt of the collision impact. These BMW auto parts were initially mere extra features in the 1920s, intended to provide additional protection to the vehicle. Now, bumpers have become as necessary as a pair of great wheels.

Most BMW cars produced today are equipped with BMW bumpers that help protect passengers. BMW bumpers are mounted on the front and rear part of a vehicle. They are made of high quality heavy sheet metal. Bumpers are also built with crumple zones which are designed to enable the specific bumper part to flex during collisions. In addition, bumpers do not merely improve on motorist safety, these auto add stylish flair to the car with their snazzy and often, snappy, designs. Today, they are even enhanced and customized to afford a look that's more personalized, more individual, more unique.
