Access Tonneau Cover Reviews

Nothing is perfect but if you��re looking to install a soft tonneau cover, then an Access Tonneau Cover comes pretty darn near. Apart from one or two minor points, it��s hard to fault it in terms of cost, looks, durability and ease of installation.
Soft tonneau covers remain a popular choice. While hard versions, such as fiberglass, do look great �C especially when they��re paint matched �C they are expensive and harder to self-install, and they don��t provide much greater protection from theft or the weather, and they don��t save on your truck��s mileage any more than their softer competitors.
Not only are soft truck tonnos cheaper and easier you install, they also allow better access to your cargo than most hard versions and, when you need to, you can completely remove them easily.
Access tonneau covers are a market leader in roll-top versions. This isn��t too surprising considering the company��s pedigree. Having been in business since 1989 �C initially manufacturing farm tarps �C the company has introduced many technical innovations to help ensure its pickup tonnos are durable while being easy to install and use. The products currently made include; the Access Limited Edition Roll-up Cover, the LiteRider Roll-up Cover, and the Lorado low profile Roll-up Cover.
You get many features with an Access tonno, such as the proprietary EZ DIAL XT tension adjusters that enable the owner to adjust the tautness of the tarp to their specification. The tarp itself is made of heavy duty vinyl that is UV-protected.
The cover opens easily �C you simply release the auto-latch and roll back the cover, with the roll-up folding with it. The cover easily closes by means of a sturdy hook-and-loop sealing system and there��s a three-point locking system at each corner of the truck bed.
The cover can be self-installed by just about anyone. No drilling or special tools are required. But nothing��s perfect and this brings us to a minor complaint. The installation instructions that come with the cover are so-so and can be somewhat difficult to follow at times. Here��s a tip; if you are about to fit one, go and download the installation video from the company��s website �C it��s really worthwhile doing so and you��ll fit the cover in half the time!
And while we��re complaining; I��ve heard that some folks have found that the bolts supplied were too small. I don��t find this to be the case and most seem to agree with me.
Apart from these two minor points (you probably won��t find them a problem at all), the Access roll-up tonneau cover is a winner in every department. You��ll be hard pushed to find a more durable truck tonno cover, that��s as easy to install, stays taut and looks good for as long.
While it��s more expensive than other truck covers, it��s cheaper than hard versions, and when you buy a soft roll-up you really do get what you paid for. But don��t take my word for it; most reviews of Access tonneau covers give this product an excellent rating.
